Rice’s Glass Company is a family-owned and operated business located in Carrboro, NC. The company was started by LeRoyce Rice in 1959, and has grown from a small room in the old town hall to their current location on Lloyd Street in Carrboro, which includes a 40,000 square foot shop. The Rice family continues to be the force behind the business, with daughter Sarah Rice-Wright, co-owner and son Alton Rice overseeing day to day operations and serving as president. Grandchildren, Jordan and Ashley, have also joined the family business and they look forward to continuing their family legacy for many years to come.
