Rice’s Glass Company is a proud family-owned and operated business located in Carrboro, North Carolina. Founded in 1959 by LeRoyce and Sylvia Rice, what began as a small operation in a room inside the old Carrboro Town Hall has grown into one of the region’s most trusted glass companies, operating from our 40,000-square-foot facility on Lloyd Street.

For more than 65 years, the Rice family has remained committed to providing exceptional craftsmanship, quality products, and honest, dependable service to homeowners, businesses, contractors, and institutions throughout the triangle and surrounding communities.

Today, the company continues to be led by the Rice family. Daughter Sarah Rice Wright, co-owner, and son Alton Rice, president, oversee the day-to-day operations while carrying forward the values established by their parents. Representing the third generation, grandchildren Jordan Rice and Ashley Rice have joined the family business and are proud to continue the legacy of service, integrity, and excellence that has defined Rice’s Glass Company since 1959.
